! Some spoilers ahead!Okay, Now that most of us has seen LODT, what did you think of it? I've heard a lot of disappointing things, but my problem with it is, it was too short, most movies I see I think that you could shave so much running time off, but this. well, i think you could have done so much more with the plot. The whole deal when Big daddy (The 'super bub') kills Kaufman (Bourgeois pig) seemed to just pass by. Time is really all I have to say about this one. Lets just hope it's longer on DVD. But, lets look at the positive side of this movie. The premise is quite creative, I was really rather fond of it. I think it deserves to stand with all the other 'dead' movies, however, given the 20 year gap, most people wont. But hey, You cant hate this movie, it had Tom freakin Savini in it!

I thought it was an ok movie. How far past DOTD is this movie's setting? I did not see how such a split in the societies could come about. I mean, after everything that would have happened, why is there people wearing suits and living in this building, not harmed in any way, and carrying around suitcases full of money. I wasn't aware that money could have any prominance in a post-apocalyptic world. Maybe its just me but I did not like the fact that the same zombies kept appearing. Like it was a set cast of zombies that always walked around together. Seemed on the Resident Evil side of things. It did have some great parts though, and I can't wait to see the uncut version. I always though Romero would go out with more of a bang though.

Just in the interest of comedy, I read a review by a fan and here are a few of the things he said... -First of all, the title should have been, "Land of the Armor Plated Winnebago." -I'm sorry but "thinking zombies" are just counterintuitive to the notion of decomposing flesh. What's coming in the next sequel, zombies open a Starbucks and start publishing blogs about where to score fresh meat? I also read that a Bub look-alike was placed somewhere in the movie...

k everyone that was looking for simon pegg and edgar wright's cameo (the shaun of the dead guys), it's the scene where the chick with a tongue piercing screams next to the two zombies and gets her picture taken. the zombies behind her are them.

Although iy was not as good (or at least in my opinion) as the other dead movies. (it reminded me to much of resident evil) I rather liked it. True it was too short, but it did use an idea I had been toying with. About something that focuses on the zombie, trying to live in a world filled with humans. Trying to survive from their inevitable doom. And just like my idea for "dawn of the bread", someone read my mind and did it.

Good news everyone. I hear rumors on the Internets, that there will be a LOTD DVD out in October. From what I hear, there is only Six minutes that was cut out of the theatrical release, this includes plot related material. So the scenes that dint seem long enough might be better on the DVD. Sadly, nothing cool like someone getting riped apart No one knows what else will be included on the DVD, but I'm sure it will kick ass. Also, little extra news, Romero's famed "Theres always Vanilla" will be seeing a DVD release this October.
